Polycom SmartPairing technology* allows you to easily use your Apple iPad as an interface to start and manage video calls.

Up to 1080p60 content quality with 1080p HD License helps reduce limitations when sharing any type of content that demands both high resolution and natural movement. By seeing both people and content in full motion HD at the same time, you are able to have a more productive and enjoyable collaboration experience.

The RealPresence Group 500 device can be discreetly installed and delivers a simple setup with a single-cable connection for both video and audio. Such a compact design also makes the Group 500 ideally suited for mobile applications, whether it needs to be moved to different rooms within a building or taken on the road.

The Polycom RealPresence Group 500 is able to connect to the other standards-based video systems available today. With native interoperability with the most popular unified communications (UC) platforms, businesses can easily integrate with the way businesses already communicate, without requiring an expensive gateway.

RealPresence Group 500 utilizes the Telepresence Interoperability Protocol (TIP) to support a direct connection to non-standards-based Cisco environments. With a unique and interoperable SVC architecture*, RealPresence Group 500 can provide video calling between both existing video systems and new SVC systems. Polycom is utilizing a new approach that will give organizations unmatched investment protection while creating a bridge to the "video islands" of other systems that only allow calls between like systems.
