This module is targeted at building cost-effective 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet server farms. It provides two dedicated Gigabit Ethernet uplinks, as well as up to 12 ports per module for high-performance Gigabit Ethernet server connectivity. The 12 server ports can burst to Gigabit Ethernet line rate and share 8 Gbps of full-duplex bandwidth into the switching fabric.
