Virtual concatenation (VCAT), Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS), standard encapsulation, and SONET sub-50-millisecond (ms) resiliency schemes are used to deliver these point-to-point data services efficiently and in conjunction with the traditional TDM service-delivery requirements.
